Primary Objective: 

The Director of Account Management is passionate about the Spectrio products and mission while focused on leading a team of Account Managers focused on driving sales goals and building strong client relationships.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a 5-9 person Account Management team to achieve monthly sales goals through new sales opportunities and incremental sales opportunities within the current customer base.
  • Effectively attract, develop and retain talent and achieve headcount goals, including properly hiring, onboarding, supporting and mentoring sales reps towards meeting their goals in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the development and execution of identified sales strategies in conjunction with internal stakeholders in order to drive overall performance and growth
  • Directors are expected to work cross-functionally to exceed expectations set by leadership and grow the customer wallet share by cross-selling the core Spectrio portfolio.
  • Directors, when necessary, will lead deal cycle management including business review cadence, coordination and negotiation of contractual activities (RFI, RFP…etc.), pipeline management, purchase commitment functions (obtain PO), order completion (installation, payment).
  • Actively monitor and evaluate the performance of individuals and team through: 
    • Conducting a weekly one-on-one with each direct report to include side-by-side coaching sales calls, coaching, pipeline management, document findings, provide coaching to sales rep, and follow up consistently based on the needs of the sales rep.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and build effective relationships with client services team, finance, operations, and technology.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and maintain professional certifications.
  • Responsible for meeting client retention goals.

  

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field is required.
  • 3+ years experience in a sales management role within a marketing, advertising, managed services, or similar field.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate, achieve goals, and meet deadlines across cross-functional teams in multiple states.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Suite, Microsoft Office and overall tech savvy.
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills with proven experience.
  • Solid financial acumen, advanced math and analytical skills with the ability to train existing and new team members.
  • Proven sales achievement while working in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel 30%.
