Description

The Operations Support role will assist with preparing and maintaining production support plans, coordinating and scheduling production processes, providing knowledge transfer to the client, documenting defects, QA resolutions, and collaborating with the client on triaging issues. In addition, in between project activities, you may be asked to help work on ongoing improvement of systems, standards, and methodologies and assisting the development team on testing needs.



Internally this role is titled Operations, Professional.



Job Responsibilities/Duties:


  • Run solutions & jobs in production and non-production as required
  • Oversee job scheduling setup and maintenance
  • Manage system infrastructure including monitoring performance, security and access
  • Support clients with defect triaging and resolution
  • Utilize TFS/Azure/Jira to monitor status of tickets and provide updates to project management
  • Mitigate disasters such as server failures, outages, failed deployments and provide guidance for disaster recovery
  • Provide continuous improvement to processes, systems and procedures
  • Respond to alerts and follow standard procedures and documentation for issue resolution
  • Perform routine system health checks and validations
  • Perform troubleshooting on issues
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a software development, information technology, or system implementation environment
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience with maintaining and supporting applications and their operating environments?
  • Strong customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
  • Operations knowledge and experience with executing tasks in a high-quality manner??
  • Experience in setting up job schedules, migration schedules, cutover plans
  • Experience in T-SQL (DB Query writing)


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000. However, it’s possible for an individual to be hired at a salary outside of this range.
