Description

Splunk, a Cisco company, is building a safer and more resilient digital world with an end-to-end full-stack platform made for a hybrid, multi-cloud world. Leading enterprises use our unified security and observability platform to keep their digital systems secure and reliable. Our customers love our technology, but it's our caring employees that make Splunk stand out as an amazing career destination. No matter where in the world or what level of the organization, we approach our work with kindness. So bring your work experience, problem-solving skills and talent, of course, but also bring your joy, your passion and all the things that make you, you. Come help organizations be their best, while you reach new heights with a team that has your back.
Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and drive the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for both our AI and LLM monitoring capabilities, as well as the value of integrated AI to supercharge use cases for the Splunk Observability portfolio — these are key differentiators for our observability business. In this critical role, you’ll play an integral part in shaping the future of our observability business as we continue to advance our leadership position and momentum.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Expert Storyteller: You are a master of positioning and messaging, with a proven track record of successfully positioning technical solutions for ITOps and engineering professionals. Your ability to craft compelling, differentiated narratives that resonate with technical audiences will be essential to our success.
  • Market Insight: You have a deep understanding of the observability market, its competitive landscape, and emerging trends. You are experienced in conducting thorough market and persona research, always staying ahead of the curve to ensure our strategies align with evolving market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of AI: In addition to a deep understanding of different types of AI and how they can be integrated into a product to drive customer value, you understand how AI is integrated into applications and the layers and key aspects that would need to be monitored to support business goals and priorities.
  • Product Launch Experience: You thrive on launching new features and products. With a history of successfully managing product launch processes, you bring a well-informed market perspective to product management, ensuring our solutions are always ahead of the competition.
  • Sales Enablement Experience: You’re passionate about empowering teams to succeed. You’re skilled in enabling sales teams and partner channels by providing them with clear, impactful GTM messaging and compelling enablement content.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You’ve worked across sales, marketing, product management and field enablement teams to influence decisions, are skilled at making connections and communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.
If you answered “yes” to these points, we’d love to connect with you!
Responsibilities
  • Develop product level positioning and messaging for both our Observability for AI solution, as well as how integrated AI delivers value in the Splunk Observability portfolio – and highlight how this resonates with our target personas across IT operations and engineering teams: software developers, site reliability engineers and platform engineers
  • Empower our sales and customer-facing teams with the sales plays, messaging, tools, and training they need to confidently communicate our positioning describe our POV and get customers excited to try, buy and adopt Splunk Observability
  • Inform and drive the global GTM strategy for Observability for AI and how our integrated AI delivers value and supercharges use cases for Splunk Observability
  • Inform strategy and planning for observability integrated marketing campaigns, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across the marketing team
  • Work closely across marketing teams to develop and deliver differentiated content such as ebooks, webinars, tech talks, and blogs that support our integrated marketing campaigns and reinforce our messaging
  • Frequently conduct market and persona research to understand current market dynamics and emerging trends
  • Work closely with our Competitive Intelligence team to articulate competitive differentiation and positioning against our top competitors
  • Drive the messaging, enablement, and customer-facing content to support product launches, and influence marketing activations for them
  • Collaborate with product management to harness customer insights and help inform market requirements
Requirements
  • 4+ years in consulting, product marketing, product management, sales or sales engineering at a high-growth B2B software company
