Key responsibilities:

  • Process payroll payments for Ethiopia, Turkey, and UAE, ensuring timely execution.
  • Manage accounts payable tasks for the MEA region, including invoice validation and vendor payments.
  • Maintain and update financial records in Xero and Netsuite, and respond to vendor and internal queries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper filing of financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Coordination:

  • Process payroll payments directly for Ethiopia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates in a timely manner

  • Responsible for communications with local CPAs to ensure payroll payment for Egypt, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, and South Africa are made on time

Accounts Payable:

  • Full ownership of AP tasks for the MEA region

  • Validate and capture invoices accurately and in detail

  • Process vendor and contractor payments in a timely manner

  • Maintain AP funding forecasts for relevant countries

  • Perform bank statement updates and reconciliations

System Management & Administration:

  • Maintain and update records in Xero for MEA countries. Moving to Netsuite soon.

  • Respond to vendor and internal queries from the shared AP mailbox

  • Respond to internal queries on contractor payments and timely processing of failed payments

  • Ensure proper filing of financial and compliance documentation

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable

  • Strong understanding of multi-country payroll and vendor payment processes

  • Proficiency in Netsuite (mandatory) and Xero (not mandatory)

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Time management

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across cultures and time zo
