  • Hours vary

  • This position is based within Jefferson Regional Nutritional Services Department 
  • In this unique setting, daily interactions with a diverse clientele, including hospital staff, physicians, and visitors, are expected

Job Summary:

The Service Rep is responsible for ensuring the dietary needs of all residents. This position performs a variety of activities related to the assembly and service of food to patients and /or guests. Promotes excellent customer relations, team orientation, conserves resources, support continuous quality improvement, and enhances the patient experience.

 

Service Rep Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of food service experience preferred.
  • One year of cashier experience in food service preferred.
  • Culinary training and nutritional knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and meal tracking preferred.
  • Knowledge in food safety and sanitation standards preferred.
  • General math skills and legible handwriting for reports.
  • Verbal and public relation skills necessary to relate effectively with others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diets.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
