Job description




LGG Advisors, with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid, provides a multitude of high added-value consultancy services to financial sector firms globally. Our team provides an array of comprehensive services catering specifically to our client’s unique and evolving circumstances which require creative and careful consideration, decision making, and guidance.

Due to expanding business, the firm is looking to hire a Senior Analyst for our Porto or Lisbon office to oversee client engagements in the Incentives team. ​​​

Description:

  • Join a growing Incentives team in a fast-paced consultancy environment
  • Support client engagements focused on funding opportunities and tax benefits
  • Contribute to project execution, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Work across diverse sectors within national and European funding frameworks

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage applications to European and Portuguese grants and incentives programs (e.g., PT2030, Horizon Europe)
  • Coordinate and execute applications for tax benefit programs such as SIFIDE and RFAI
  • Stay up to date with new and relevant funding opportunities
  • Interact daily with high-profile clients, managing expectations and project needs
  • Organize technical and financial information into clear, well-documented reports
  • Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of projects

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Management, or Engineering (preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience as a consultant in Portuguese and/or European incentive applications
  • Good understanding of national and European incentives frameworks (e.g., PT2030, Horizon Europe)
  • Fluency in Portuguese (native) and English (proficient)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Diferentials:

  • Experience preparing applications and calculating tax benefits (e.g., SIFIDE, RFAI)
  • Previous exposure to international funding or innovation ecosystems
  • Interest in developing general knowledge across startups, innovation, and R&D sectors
  • Additional language skills beyond Portuguese and English
