Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process
- Maintain and enforce internal control procedures to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Monitor cash flow
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team
Experience, Qualifications & Skills :
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Apps
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
prior experience working with accounting software, particularly Odoo, would be a significant benefit
