At HolidayPirates, we’re searching for a Web/App Tracking Specialist (f/d/m) who’s passionate about building smooth tracking setups, creating insightful reports, and ensuring our ship sails with data-driven precision.

You’ll work closely with product teams, engineers, and analysts to implement and maintain app and web tracking solutions that help millions of users discover amazing travel deals – and help us understand what really floats their boat.

DUTIES ON DECK
  • Identify, setup and continuously optimise the best tracking setup for our Web pages and App applications with the GA4
  • Understand A/B testing, Web/App Tracking
  • Contribute to shaping exciting innovation and new data tracks to further enhance our understanding of customer behavior & business impact
  • Support our product UX, marketing and content teams with the implementation of various A/B tests
  • Ensure quality, transparency and legal compliance (e.g., GDPR)  of our tracking setup and the resulting data / analysis
  • Play a key role in the maintaining and enhancing our existing setup in Google Analytics
  • Drive the conversion of our current client-side setup to a server-side one
  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members (Product/Content/Marketing)
  • Optimize our data dependencies and analysis
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams on delivering value inputs from analyzing the data (Product/Content/Marketing)
  • Define new metrics based on business flow for user behaviour/funnel analysis
  • Communicate data to non-technical business teams
  • Understand best practices of SEO, Marketing Channels and Web/App Optimisation
YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE
  • Experience of 3 to 5 years working in a similar technical role profile
  • Cloud-based data warehouses (BigQuery)
  • Experience with at least one Business Intelligence (BI) tool, preferably Looker
  • Hands-on experience in web tracking by using a Tag Management System is a must have, with experience in App tracking is mandatory
  • Intermediate skills with the Google Tag Manager, JavaScript, Google Analytics, GA4 & Firebase are mandatory
  • Hands-on knowledge with any A/B Testing framework
  • Self-motivation and passion for learning and adoption of new technologies
  • Very good communication skills in English are a must
  • Must-have domain experience: online marketplace or E-commerce product understanding and experience is preferred, travel industry based product experience is a huge plus
