Job description

The Opportunity:

Euna Solutions is seeking a driven and mission-aligned Account Executive to lead new client acquisition for our Special Education software solutions. This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of the special education landscape—someone who has worked in or closely with K-12 special education departments and is active in professional organizations such as the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE).

The Account Executive will focus on building relationships and trust with district administrators, special education directors, and other key decision-makers. You’ll play a critical role in understanding the unique needs of special education programs and crafting solutions that support compliance, IEP management, and improved outcomes for students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by identifying and closing net-new opportunities with K-12 districts and educational service agencies, primarily targeting special education departments.
  • Leverage your expertise in special education to engage with district stakeholders, demonstrating a clear understanding of challenges related to IDEA compliance, IEP workflows, service tracking, and reporting.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, including proactive outreach, discovery calls, conference networking, prospecting, and RFP/RFI engagement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, tailoring messaging and demonstrations to resonate with special education professionals and IT decision-makers alike.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to deliver high-impact product demonstrations that clearly show how Euna’s platform can solve real-world special education challenges.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, drawing on your professional network and knowledge of industry best practices to offer insights beyond the product.
  • Champion Euna’s value proposition, articulating how our solutions support compliance, improve program efficiency, and deliver better experiences for educators and students.
  • Lead RFP and proposal responses, working with internal teams to submit compelling, timely, and compliant documentation.
  • Negotiate and close deals, managing pricing conversations, terms, and legal reviews in coordination with sales leadership.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide timely updates on pipeline activity, client feedback, and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with the special education field, including IDEA, Section 504, IEP Process, and district-level funding and compliance challenges.
  • Active involvement in special education leadership communities, such as CASE, CEC, or state-level special education administrator groups.
  • Experience engaging with school district personnel, including Special Education Directors, Superintendents, and Technology Administrators.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on value-based solution selling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility across diverse roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 20–30% across North America, including conferences and on-site client visits.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in special education landscapes and district operations in the following states: California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Oregon, Utah, and Nebraska.

Key Working Relationships

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Product Management, and Professional Services to shape solutions and implementation strategies.
  • Act as a client advocate, relaying market feedback to inform product improvements and support strategic planning.

Working Conditions

  • This is a remote position, with occasional travel to regional offices, client sites, and conferences.
  • Flexibility required for travel, RFP deadlines, and collaboration across time zones.
  • 20–30% travel expected, including overnight or weekend travel as needed.
