About The Role:

Intermedia has a LOT to tell the world. Your job is to help us tell it.

The Marketing P.R. & Communications Intern will be vital to helping ensure that our message is seen and heard across PR and social media channels, as well as through other marketing platforms such as blogs, product collateral, video, our Intranet, and more. You’ll have the opportunity to craft compelling messaging and then bring those narratives to life. And because we’re an extremely integrated marketing team, you’ll work very closely with colleagues both inside and outside of marketing to make sure that our voice is amplified across all our channels, both internal and external. This is a highly visible role within our organization, and you’ll quickly find yourself immersed in the most exciting projects within our company. If you’re a creative self-starter looking to contribute, take responsibility, and be recognized, this is the role for you.

What you will be doing:


  • Assist with our PR program on a day-to-day basis—sit in on agency meetings, help craft pitch ideas and contribute to press release, by-line, and blog development
  • Help grow our social media presence—including authoring compelling post copy and recommendations for fresh organic ideas intended to help amplify our voice among key audiences
  • Help execute multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns (PR, social, web, events, etc.) that drive home Intermedia’s cloud communication and collaboration thought leadership position
  • Update and maintain our media list and influencer database
  • Monitor competitor social media and editorial placements for insights and learnings


What you will bring to the role:


  • B.A. degree focused within Marketing and/or Business Administration is preferred, but not limited to
  • Must be available 5 days a week and 8 hours per day
  • Strong familiarity with MS Office suite
  • Strong familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, etc.)
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
  • Basic image editing and graphic design skills
