Job description

We’re looking for problem solvers, innovators, and dreamers who are searching for anything but business as usual. Like us, you’re a high performer who’s an expert at your craft, constantly challenging the status quo. You value inclusivity and want to join a culture that empowers you to show up as your authentic self. You know that success hinges on commitment, that our differences make us stronger, and that the finish line is always sweeter when the whole team crosses together.

Alteryx is searching for a Sr. RevOps Analyst. This position is remote-friendly.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end analyses, synthesizing business insights, and driving data-backed recommendations that support the GTM Business Partners and senior RevOps leadership. Your primary focus is to enable the Business Partner team and their stakeholders, with deeper, on-demand analysis, proactive process improvements, and regular business reporting activities (e.g., for QBRs, forecasting, pipe generation activity). You will ensure our revenue strategy is informed by robust analytics, clear storytelling, and practical recommendations—ultimately helping the Business Partner team elevate our Sales, Renewals, and broader GTM outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Analytics & Reporting

    • Conduct hands-on, in-depth analyses of sales performance, pipeline health, churn, renewals, and other revenue drivers.

    • Collaborate with the Business Partner team to scope analytics needs, gather data (often in partnership with the Insights & Analytics team), and provide timely, actionable insights.

    • Create ad-hoc reports and scenario models to inform key decisions around pricing, product-market fit, and GTM strategies.

  • Supporting Business Partners & RevOps Leadership

    • Work closely with individual Business Partners and the Senior Director of Business Partners to understand their objectives and challenges; provide relevant data and recommendations.

    • Support the Head of RevOps by delivering clear, data-driven updates on major revenue metrics and operational improvements, from ad hoc answering of questions, thru to proactive understanding of live business movements during end of month/quarter.

    • Facilitate seamless communication between RevOps leadership and CRO-level stakeholders by translating complex data into concise executive summaries.

  • Business Rhythm Support

    • Provide analytical and operational support to Business Partners and Sales leaders in forecasting activities, ensuring they have accurate, comprehensive data to refine their forecasts.

    • Contribute to the “rhythm of the business” (e.g., weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews) by consolidating data, building presentations, and highlighting key insights or risks.

    • Partner with Sales, Renewals, and Customer Success teams to validate data inputs and highlight potential areas for pipeline optimization.

    • Collaborate with Business Partners to prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring data accuracy, meaningful insights, and coherent narratives.

    • Assist in the development of QBR frameworks and materials for GTM teams, capturing key outcomes and next steps.

    • Investigate and present additional insights during QBR cycles or other strategic reviews, highlighting trends, anomalies, and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvements

    • Identify, recommend, and implement system enhancements, process changes, or data governance improvements that increase efficiency for the Business Partner team and their respective GTM units.

    • Proactively seek out long-term solutions that scale with the business, ensuring any short-term fixes are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Maintain productive relationships with the Insights & Analytics team to gain access to core data sources and to inform the development of any production dashboards or self-service tools.

    • Coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and other GTM stakeholders to gather relevant data points and ensure a holistic view of revenue performance.

Required Skills:

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or comparable experience is advantageous.

    • 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, Business Analysis, or similar roles within a B2B software/SaaS environment.

    • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders (e.g., Directors, VP-level) with data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Core Competencies

    • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of revenue levers (Sales, Renewals, Pipeline, Churn) and the ability to connect data insights with actionable business strategies.

    • Analytics Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx); working knowledge of SQL/Alteryx or a related data manipulation language/tool is a plus.

    • Communication & Presentation: Strong ability to distil complex data into clear, concise messages for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.

    • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Skilled at working cross-functionally, comfortable aligning multiple stakeholders, and adept at navigating fast-paced environments.
