Mission

As a GBT Expert / Sales Representative, you will report to the General Manager – UK & Ireland, actively promoting EMS’s Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) solutions within Scotland and Ireland. Your role will focus on developing and managing professional relationships with dental professionals, educational institutions, and distribution partners, ensuring the successful adoption of EMS’s solutions in the market.

 

This position is ideal for an experienced sales representative or a dental hygienist/therapist looking to transition into a commercial role.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with dental office teams, resellers, and educational institutions.
  • Ensure sales growth in the assigned territory by actively visiting current customers and acquiring new clients.
  • Educate and motivate distribution partners on GBT and EMS’s product range.
  • Organize and execute GBT courses for clinicians in the designated area.
  • Represent EMS at congresses, exhibitions, and regional events.

 

Education & Clinical Support

  • Train and support customers on the techniques and applications of EMS products.
  • Build a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Scotland & Ireland to enhance EMS’s market presence.
  • Provide technical education and support to clinics and educational facilities. 

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Record all customer interactions and activities in EMS’s CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, marketing events, and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with the Customer Care team to ensure outstanding service for EMS customers.

 

Education & Required Skills

For Sales Representatives:

  • College degree or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the dental sector, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
  • Proven ability to drive sales from prospecting to closing.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

 

For Dental Hygienists / Therapists Transitioning to Sales:

  • BSc / Diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in dental hygiene.
  • Experience working with manufacturers in a KOL function or teaching experience is preferred.
  • Strong ability to educate and influence clinicians in adopting EMS solutions.

 

Additional Requirements for Both Profiles:

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
