Job Description:

At Regions, the Loan Fulfillment Closing Supervisor leads a team responsible for working with a closing agent, attorney or title company, fulfillment and production team members to facilitate loan closings.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervises the administration and coordination of all loan closing activities including issuing disclosures, funding, and document preparation
  • Monitors the day to day activities of loan closing to ensure procedures are accurately and efficiently carried out
  • Manages metrics established for the team and ensuring individuals are performing to expectations
  • Resolves any escalated issues, answers questions, and performs quality checks
  • Participates in recruiting activities including interviewing and hiring new associates
  • Promotes the development of associates through career conversations and the creation of individual development plans
  • Completes performance reviews of staff
  • Coaches, counsels, and disciplines staff
  • Implements department policies and procedures

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

This position is a fully remote role.

Additional Job Description:

The Centralized Closing Disclosure Supervisor is responsible for monitoring SLAs, training staff, ensuring quality/compliance of loan disclosures, maintaining metrics of performance, and resolving discrepancies and questions for correct disclosure issuance. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing the issuance of the initial and reissue loan estimate. The Supervisor is the business central point of contact for LE disclosures and will work with compliance partners to troubleshoot and resolve any system or disclosure issues.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • 6+ years of mortgage experience
  • SME/Strong knowledge of Reg Z & Reg X (TRID)
  • Previous role as a manager or supervisor of a high-volume organization unit, preferably in a control environment such as disclosures, underwriting or closing
  • Experience in a retail lending environment
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies with disclosures, troubleshooting issues that arise and assists staff in resolving Regassist/ComplianceEase report findings
  • Ability to identify risk areas and mitigate to maintain compliance
  • Expert in Empower system operation or similar LOS
  • Detail for timeless, accuracy and compliance

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

$58,549.70 USD

Median:

$78,250.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
