DNA Genotek products are marketed worldwide and support thousands of customers as they achieve breakthroughs in genomic and microbiome research, in diagnostics laboratories, in the pharmaceutical industry, in companion animal genomics and in personalized medicine.
The Sales Development Analyst role has the core responsibility of providing sales and customer support as well as lead generation for our entire product portfolio. This includes using the tools at your disposal to produce lead lists, nurturing them with outreach until they are sales-ready. This position involves customer and sales support through the management and routing of customer inbounds from email, website, and company phone lines.
Snapshot of Responsibilities: Utilize research skills to develop prospective lists for targeted marketing and sales initiatives Initiate outreach, nurture, and develop prospective lead lists for sales hand-off and qualification. Respond, engage and qualify inbounds and sales-related inquiries Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application Support the sales and marketing teams in conducting primary and secondary research required to make critical market and product decisions Participate in sales and product training Develop product knowledge sufficient to successfully support customers in real-time via email, LiveChat, or phone. Assist in data reconciliation efforts and CRM data hygiene Liaise with event attendees as a DNA Genotek representative at Tradeshows and Conferences Special projects as required What You Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, Communications, Marketing, or relevant industry experience Previous sales or sales development experience and an interest in business and/or marketing will be considered an asset Proven research skills with the ability to filter critical information Ability to take direction, work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications Previous experience working with Salesforce will be considered an asset Must be comfortable with phone, email and LiveChat communications with customers Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company Background in the scientific research, laboratory and/or diagnostic healthcare space is ideal. The base salary range for this full-time position is $45,000 - $75,000 USD. In addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in our annual bonus program. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the position, based on our defined salary pay ranges. Our ranges are broad to account for differences in roles, performance, experience, skillsets, education and business needs and individual pay is determined by a variety of factors.
