Position Summary

The Chargemaster Analyst is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data in coordination with clinical, revenue cycle, information technology, and financial management staff to support proper charging practices for all hospital and physician departments, providing accurate, timely, and objective analysis. The incumbent oversees and maintains the hospital and physician chargemaster, charge structure, charge coding, government regulations/compliance, pricing, rate structure and performs ongoing and special financial analysis for management throughout the health system, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required with two (2) years experience or may be substituted by five (5) years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, charge capture, charge description master at a large healthcare organization

  • Epic proficiency in Hospital or Professional Billing Administration or Chargemaster required, or commitment to obtain within 12 months of hire

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $70,970.00 - $102,128.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
