Position Summary

The Evernorth Implementation Manager (IM) is a cross-functional role that will oversee and manage implementation tasks and processes for Clients and Health Plans for CareNav+ and clinical products.

Client Relationships / Service

  • Cross-functional, multi-faceted, external-facing role.

  • Owns the client onboarding process for installation of CareNav+/clinical products and services and in tandem with clinical/vendor management teams, product and project teams for new and renewing clients.

  • Lead and/or attend implementation meetings, as a supportive partner and develop and present implementation calendar tasks relative to Evernorth products and services including key milestones and deliverables. 

  • Works with Sales and Client/Health Plan to obtain critical information necessary for Evernorth implementation account set-up.

  • Work with Vendor Management Team to understand client strategy and developing relationships within the client implementation team.

  • Communicating all decisions made during the implementation both externally and internally within Evernorth as applicable.

  • Active implementation progress tracking status in Vista and daily time tracking documents.

  • Participate in planning sessions and other related meetings and sessions with internal business users as well as our external clients.

  • Create and provide implementation calendar or tasks representing the Evernorth implementation process and expectations. 

Internal Liaison

  • Partner with the Sales Executive, Product, Program/Project Teams, Service, Digital, Eligibility, and Vendor Management Team to fully understand the client intent with respect to Clinical/CareNav+ products and services selected. 

  • Ensure technical experts are introduced to client as appropriate and partner with internal matrix partners to ensure timely and accurate implementations. 

  • Coordinates an internal matrix team with subject matter experts within Evernorth to execute overall implementation for client and manages issues through resolution, specific to the Evernorth implementation process. 

  • Communicate ongoing implementation status.  Surface, negotiate and resolve all issues relative to Evernorth implementation, process, plan design and timing of deliverables.  Communicate outcome and next steps with Matrix Partners.

  • Contributes and develops new processes and workflows for large enterprise projects, working alongside Product, Business and Enterprise Project Managers/Teams.

Data Analysis

  • Owns proactive routine service touchpoints with client regarding service dashboard results and quarterly service performance reporting.  Provides ad hoc reports to the account team and client.  Analyzes data/trends and responsible for presenting results to the client.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, business communication, marketing, or other appropriate professional degree required or equivalent work experience; MBA, PMI Certification, or Six Sigma training also valued.

  • 3+ plus years work experience in project management/account management/account services/sales, or other areas requiring significant client interaction and ability to effectively problem-solve issues to resolution. 

  • Ability to establish strong matrix partner relationships and follow through on expectations.

  • 3+ plus years work experience in Clinical Operations, Clinical Consultation, or Implementation, preferred.

  • Familiarity with Cigna and Evernorth ecosystem/products and services and understanding of Cigna and Evernorth systems and data repositories highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated strength and ability to interface with and influence key decision makers/clients through use of negotiation skills, dealing with ambiguity and conflict management. 

  • Demonstrated strength and understanding of customer expectations and "sense of urgency" resulting in the ability to influence the organization to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Strong analytical ability, with ability to design, track, and work toward specific measurable performance targets for self and team and strong problem solving and conceptual skills required.

  • Ability to manage multiple and divergent priorities and deadlines, work independently and collaboratively, and proactively, negotiate and manage expectations for mutually acceptable solutions and creatively problem-solve effective customer solutions.

  • Proficiency with multiple software and system-based applications, including database and spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, tracking systems) required.

  • Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels and functions within the organization.

  • Excellent presentation skills. Previous/proven success and three to five years' experience delivering customer/producer communications.

  • Demonstrated success in negotiations and ability to influence internal/external constituencies.

  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills in fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent relationship building skills with proven ability to create and further develop strong relationships with both business and IT leadership.

  • Detail oriented with excellent research skills and excellent organizational and time management skills required.

OTHER

  • Less than 15% travel, as needed.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 80,900 - 134,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
