Our client, a fast-growing company in the HR technology space, is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to own the top-of-the-funnel and drive new business opportunities. This role involves a mix of inbound and outbound prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and creative engagement strategies to generate and qualify leads. Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM PST
Outbound & Inbound Prospecting: Manage cold calling and dialing efforts to engage both warm inbound leads and outbound prospects.
Appointment Setting: Qualify leads and schedule 3-4 sales appointments per week.
Email Outreach & Sequences: Create and manage email follow-ups and outreach sequences in HubSpot.
Creative Messaging & A/B Testing: Experiment with personalized sequences, subject lines, and messaging variations to optimize response rates.
Sales Content Creation: Develop follow-up presentations and email templates to nurture prospects through the pipeline (experience with Canva, or similar, is highly advantageous).
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain and update HubSpot CRM, tracking lead activity, conversions, and pipeline metrics.
Slack Lead Ingestion: Monitor Slack channels for incoming leads, ensuring they are properly ingested into HubSpot.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track conversion results and key sales metrics, providing regular updates on outreach effectiveness.
Experience
2+ years experience in outbound sales, lead generation, and/or business development.
Strong cold calling experience, with the ability to engage and qualify leads effectively.
Proficiency with HubSpot CRM for email sequences, pipeline management, and reporting.
Skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal), with excellent communication skills.
Strong email copywriting skills, able to craft engaging and effective email sequences and follow-ups.
Creative thinker with experience in A/B testing outreach strategies.
Proficiency in Canva (or similar) for presentation and email template design is highly advantageous.
Familiar with Slack for lead monitoring and ingestion into CRM.
