This role is remote-friendly.

We are looking for a leader with experience in Market & Consumer Research (M&CR) across verticals with global market exposure and varied research types cutting across the customer journey through products & services. You will lead the Merkle Market Research practice, focusing on solutioning, growth and being a trusted partner to our top clients.

Merkle has been offering M&CR services for over 20+ years to multiple Fortune 500 companies and Agencies; in B2C and B2B segments. Merkle is a trusted partner in offering market solutions such as Brand Health, Consumer segmentation and targeting, User Experience Research and Ad measurement. We offer full-service capabilities from Research advisory to design & executing research including Analytics. We are now excited about bringing to market innovative solutions that leverage Technology / AI and Merkle’s unique differentiators like our proprietary identity and data solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. You will serve as a M&CR Practice leader responsible to design and drive the growth strategy along with P&L ownership.

  2. Executive sponsor for key client accounts: Engage with senior client partners and be a trusted partner to drive strategic initiatives.

  3. Partner with growth and capability leaders to support crafting solutions for business opportunities/ deals through proposals/pitches/RFP’s

  4. Collaborates with growth organization to proactively identify engagement opportunities across existing clients and new prospects.

  5. Manage a high performing team across onshore and offshore locations.

  6. Work with internal practitioners to design the right GTM strategy for M&CR solutions.

  7. Work across ecosystem to drive M&CR capabilities as a wedge - covering entire spectrum of research (B2B, B2C, Qual, Quant, Research Technologies, Enterprise, Audience, Advisory led Research etc.)

  8. Creates industry-leading thought-leadership that elevates the organization among industry peers and strengthens value proposition as a strategic transformation partner to clients

  9. Drive innovation in M&CR solutions by incorporating latest market trends (e.g: AI, synthetic profiles)

  10. Review and enhance delivery quality through appropriate interventions

You will report to the Americas Lead, Analytics.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of M&CR experience with a proven track record.

  • Experience leading the M&CR capabilities/teams to achieve our goals.

  • Proven experience managing P&L.

  • Have knowledge of technology enabled solutions, applications through the Research value chain, including AI and new age technologies causing industry changes.

  • Experience providing consultation to senior executives in a client or corporate setting.

  • Ability to lead global teams in a fast-paced, demanding environment, providing feedback and professional development while also motivating.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution. MBA preferrable.

  • Present complex content simply to senior clients or company partners.  

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,500.00 - $380,075.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Our incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
