Our client, a leading provider of high-performance time-series databases and monitoring solutions trusted by major companies like Adidas, WIX, and CERN, is seeking a Channel Builder and Partnerships Leader to spearhead its strategic partnership initiatives. This role focuses on developing and nurturing channel ecosystems with global partners such as AWS, IBM, GCP, and Azure. Ideal for a results-driven professional with extensive experience in B2B partnerships and a track record of building and scaling strategic alliances in the tech and open-source sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy: Design and execute a partnership strategy that aligns with business goals and drives market expansion.
  • Partner Development: Identify, engage, and onboard channel partners, including cloud marketplaces and enterprise-focused organizations.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations to foster collaboration and growth.
  • Co-Marketing Initiatives: Work with internal teams to create joint marketing campaigns and programs that enhance partner success.
  • Value Proposition Communication: Showcase the unique benefits of VictoriaMetrics products, demonstrating how they align with and enhance partner solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, partner developments, and competitive landscapes to inform partnership strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Achieve and exceed partnership performance targets by developing and managing a pipeline of collaborative opportunities.
  • Custom Solutions: Tailor partnership proposals and presentations to address the specific goals and needs of potential and existing partners.


Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B channel development, partnership management, or strategic alliances within the open-source or tech industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully building partnerships with major players like AWS, IBM, Azure, or Alibaba.
  • Expertise in developing inbound and outbound partnership strategies.
  • Strong understanding of channel ecosystems and marketplace operations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience in creating co-marketing strategies and supporting partner enablement.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL data technologies or modern data platforms is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of enterprise management solutions (e.g., Cloud Management, Systems Management, log analytics, APM) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities and ambiguity.
