We are seeking a Key Account Manager, covering Central England (Midlands, East Anglia, South Yorks) with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team.

What You Will Do

• Build and foster strong KOL and customer relationships within the territory:
• Work along Chief Surgeons and Surgeons to support usage of Tachosil and other technologies in the OR;
• Be in the OR and departments to present and demonstrate the product while fostering strong relationships with OR stakeholders;
• Identify opportunities with new customers and develop tailored solutions dependent upon customer needs;
• Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained;
• Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic and competitor knowledge is obtained and maintained;
• Liaise with stakeholders such as Pharmacists, Purchase Managers and Admin to manage continuous availability of the product within Trusts and Clinics;
• Compliance with both local jurisdictions, regulatory, professional and ethical standards.
• An in depth understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with NHS and private sector.
• Conduct a regular territory analysis in order to develop an in depth understanding of customers, competitor landscape and trends in sales and market share;
• Complete monthly customer activity and sales reports including detail on the sales pipeline;
• Ensure time allocation and focus are aligned with the defined company sales strategy;
• Execute defined UK Key Account strategies at the local account level;
• Ensure all contact details and agreed activities are updated in CRM system in a timely manner ensuring these are GDPR compliant;
• Available to travel (min 50% to max 80%) and stay overnight if required;
• Provide tailored training sessions to customers dependent upon identified needs.
  
  

What You Will Need

• Desired degree-level qualification in life sciences;
• Minimum 3-5 years selling into theatres and clinics
• OR experience and existing KOL network in general surgery, neurosurgery, HPB, cardiothoracic, Urosurgery;
• Working experience in NHS Trusts and super Trusts;
• Knowledge of NHS and the private sector sales cycle is a must;
• Haemostasis and/or Biosurgery experience is highly desirable;
• Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach;
• Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships;
• Team player, strong sense of urgency and accountability;
• Experience in utilising Microsoft Office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce
• Based in Bristol.
