A growing healthcare management and ICT consultancy is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist for a 3-month contract for 10 – 15 hours per week. This part-time role requires a strategic marketing professional with strong leadership skills to manage multi-channel campaigns and drive brand growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and client engagement, ensuring the organisation’s marketing initiatives achieve measurable success.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement.
Identify growth opportunities and enhance the organization’s brand positioning in the healthcare consultancy market.
Digital Marketing and Analytics
Manage digital marketing efforts across SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing channels.
Optimise website content and digital assets to improve user experience and increase engagement.
Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and SEO platforms to monitor performance and report on key metrics.
Analyse campaign data to inform decision-making and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
Brand Management and Communications
Ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all marketing platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams and creative partners to develop high-quality content and promotional materials.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to enhance brand visibility.
Lead public relations and communication efforts to establish a positive brand reputation.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis
Conduct occasional market research to identify customer needs, emerging industry trends, and competitor activities.
Use research insights to shape marketing strategies and improve campaign outcomes.
Prepare reports on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive positioning to guide marketing decisions.
Customer Engagement and Lead Generation
Design and manage lead generation campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing support and actionable insight to drive conversions.
Enhance the customer journey by identifying key touchpoints and improving the overall experience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in mid-to-senior marketing roles, within SME.
Healthcare or ICT industry experience would be advantageous.
Proven expertise with digital marketing tools and platforms.
Strong knowledge of social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads) and analytics tools.
Ideally, reside in Gauteng.
