About The Client

The Client is an ecommerce retailer founded in 2013 selling 500 sun protection products across 30 brands, mainly to a UK customer base. They have a £350k+ annual revenue plus a small team based in Worthing, UK currently alongside two purpose-driven founders with 20+ years of experience running retail businesses.

Their vision is to become the UK ecommerce authority on sun protection and skincare and enhance product transparency and customer decision making in this sector. They believe this will reduce customer stress, enable more confidence and enjoyment in the sun, as well as enhance customer life expectancy by mitigating the dangers of the sun.


Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and organised Ecommerce Content Executive to lead the visual and content-driven aspects of our sun and skin care focused eCommerce site. This role will focus on managing product data, coordinating with brands for joint campaigns, and curating engaging content for email, social media, and the website. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for creating compelling brand experiences through visual and written content.


Key Responsibilities
  • Email Content: Create engaging, on-brand email campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention.

  • Imagery Coordination: Curate product and campaign imagery to enhance brand storytelling, leveraging efficient technological tools for visual uniformity.

  • Campaign Planning: Organise and execute the marketing calendar to support launches and promotions.

  • Brand Collaboration: Work with supplier brands to coordinate brand assets, joint promotions, launches, and campaigns.

  • Organic Social Media: Manage organic social media content to drive brand engagement and awareness.

  • Content Strategy: Coordinate with content creators to build and maintain a compelling online presence.

  • Competitive Analysis: Track competitor activities and market trends to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Product Data Management: Ensure accurate product data, descriptions, and imagery across the site.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams, including the web agency, content partners, the ecommerce performance executive and the UK leadership team, to ensure cohesive ecommerce strategies and execution.
