Location:
Remote (PST Time zone)
Salary Range:
up to 2500 USD
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will manage and produce accurate, compliant, and high-quality proposals and engineering reports, ensuring that all submissions align with client requirements and industry standards. This position is vital to our ability to secure new business opportunities and maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review RFPs, RFQs, RFSO, and email work requests to create comprehensive requirement tables.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop persuasive and compliant proposals
  • Organize and manage proposal documents using SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit engineering reports, ensuring compliance with style and formatting standards.
  • Maintain and update company experience descriptions and capability statements.
  • Create and manage template files for various proposals and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Architecture, Journalism, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in proposal writing is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of construction or engineering industry terminology is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction plans and documents.
  • Demonstrated capability to maintain high-quality work under deadline
