The Contracts Administrator will provide a full range of administrative and operational support to the commercial contracting team within the Legal Department under the direction of the Assistant General Counsel, including assistance with the development and implementation of commercial contracting processes, playbooks and governance procedures, oversight of the Company’s contract management platform, management of the master contract, day-to-day organizational efficiencies and other matters as assigned. The Contract Administrator will also perform / assist with substantive contract review and negotiation, as requested. Assigned tasks and responsibilities will touch general corporate, M&A, insurance regulatory and other areas and will provide broad exposure to in-house legal matters.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Development, implementation and maintenance of commercial contracting playbooks and governance procedures.
  • Maintenance of the Company’s contract management system, including assistance with the building / modification of contract workflows, management of in-process contracting workflows and management of archival / repository processes.
  • Development of key data analytics related to commercial contracting terms and reporting of commercial contracting KPIs.
  • Oversight and management of the Company’s master contract repository.
  • Coordination with outsourced commercial contracting resources.
  • Review and negotiation of various commercial contracts, as requested.
  • Project management of special projects related to the Company’s commercial contracts and contracting processes.
  • Drafting training materials related to the Company’s commercial contracting processes and coordinating trainings, as needed.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as contract manager or equivalent.
  • Ability to be a good partner to the business, HR team, Finance, and other corporate functions.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong research, proofreading, and formatting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint required.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $83,200 - $105,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
