Take a central role in shaping and enhancing our CRM marketing strategy to align with company goals, with a particular focus on nurturing user relationships, boosting conversions, and re-engaging churned users across email, newsletters, and in-app channels.
Serve as a project manager for our CRM team, ensuring that projects are completed promptly and contribute effectively to overarching company objectives, executed with precision and efficiency.
Identify new opportunities for automation, personalization, and refining user journeys through methods such as journey mapping, audience segmentation, testing roadmaps (including multivariate and A/B testing), benchmarking, and regular performance analysis.
Supervise the entire user journey to ensure a seamless experience across critical lifecycle workflows, including onboarding, lifecycle management, and reducing churn.
Analyze user data and behaviors to uncover areas for optimizing CRM campaigns and improving user experiences.
Develop and implement a project roadmap for CRM initiatives in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
Lead experimentation efforts within the team, establishing guidelines for evaluating experiments and incorporating findings effectively.
Assess, implement, and oversee CRM tools, processes, and platforms to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
Define and track KPIs to measure the success of CRM initiatives, providing regular progress updates.
Confidently lead and present in meetings involving multiple stakeholders, including leadership, and stay informed about industry trends and exemplary user experiences, particularly within subscription media products.
Take responsibility for maintaining overall email list health and ensuring domain reputation and deliverability across all email campaigns.
Ensure all CRM activities comply with relevant data privacy and compliance regulations.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to spearhead extensive and intricate data-driven projects that enable CRM to effectively target users through automated and triggered touchpoints.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams on email strategy, execution, testing, and technical integrations across various channels.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning, executing, and analyzing marketing automation campaigns, with a strong emphasis on email and newsletter marketing at a rapidly expanding consumer company (experience in subscription business is advantageous).
Preferably have experience in B2C, but B2B experience will also be considered.
Solid understanding of user engagement strategies.
Familiarity with the sports media landscape, including trends, fan behavior, and content consumption patterns, as well as subscription-based business models, is a plus.
Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills, including a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams or spearheading projects across different departments.
Proficient in project management, demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication skills, balancing meticulous attention to detail with agile execution across a diverse range of initiatives.
