Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Description
An Architecture, Construction, and Engineering consulting firm based out of the San Francisco Bay Area is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team to run full-cycle accounting! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and support various functions of the team.
Responsibilities
- Manual Bank reconciliations and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Payroll processing for biweekly, monthly, and quarterly employees
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Billing/Collections
- Process complicated AR invoices for client billing
- Accounts Payables
Hard Skills
- 3+ years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, Payroll)
- Experience supporting the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, v-lookups)
- Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) or the Procas system (Preferred)
- Experience with industry-specific ERP system (Preferred)
- Associates or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or similar field (Preferred)
