Corporate Materials Escalator at Aston Carter

Description

This candidate will be responsible for contacting vendors for parts and escalating based on needs for urgent parts. This person will support multiple sites.

What You Will Do

• Utilize search engines to find materials on open Market EMS component availability using eDI search tools such as CalcuQuote, QuoteWin, Trustedparts.com, and other tools.
• Lead routine customer (internal/external) and supplier cadence calls.
• Track material shortage status and report to various departments progress to clear material shortages.
• Work with various sites to clear gap in material supply chain that support various customers’ orders.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot, h lookups, v lookups, x lookups, etc)
• HS Diploma or GED required (Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement experience (preferred)
• Must have previous experience working with Electronics
• Understanding EMS Component OEM Commodity Level component supply chain with 1+ years experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to organize and lead group cadence calls with internal stakeholders at multiple sites, OEM Component manufacture(s), EMS component Distributor(s), and Customers using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to use search engines to find materials on open Market EMS component availability using eDI search tools such as Caluquote, QuoteWin, Trustedparts.com, and other tools.
• Ability to multi-task working with various sites to clear gap in material supply chain that support various customers’ orders
