Job description

Overview:

As a Sales Account Manager, you are selling the " Value" of Quest products - building sales strategies, developing existing accounts and identifying further opportunities for potential prospects and assigned partners across Japan. The role commands a strong understanding of the Quest Solutions, the business value derived and an ability to articulate the business transformation impact for our target markets.

 

The role requires a sales-oriented skill set biased toward accountability, actionability and persistence and contains a strong channel selling requirement. It also requires a bias toward relationship building and a service-oriented skill set capable to assist and help the partner while ensuring Quest goals are always met.

Responsibilities:

-Meeting assigned sales and target pipelines,

-Creating sales campaigns and closely coordinating company involvement with customer management

-Coordinate & support Demand Generation activities to grow pipeline.

-Identifying, recruiting, and supporting the onboarding of prospective go-to-market partners.

-Implement a structured and pragmatic sales execution plan with a defined set of partners and in accordance with the Quest Partner program,

-Build a deeper and sustainable partnership with selected partners; and prepares to increase market share against our core competitors,

-Candidates should be willing to travel within Japan as necessary and internationally infrequently.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 5 years enterprise sales experience – Software sales preferred.

-In addition to direct selling, Channel selling experience is highly desirable.

-Experience selling cybersecurity solutions, either as hardware, software, virtual/hybrid, or as pure cloud solution preferred.

-Experience selling deals more than US$250K as a single transaction highly desirable.

-Familiar with use of Salesforce is highly desirable.

-Prior experience with the MEDDIPICC opportunity management process highly desirable

-Proficiency in identifying, recruiting, and supporting the onboarding of prospective go-to-market partners.

-Candidates should be able to demonstrate evidence of previous experience selling to decision makers with procurement authority (AKA “Economic Buyers”).

-Candidates should be able to read and write English proficiently (spoken English preferred, but not required).

-Collaborative skills and ability to work with cross functional teams is essential.

-Candidates must be willing and able to take initiative, not wait to be told what to do before acting.
