Account Director - Financial Services Consulting - 1556
Location: Remote with some U.S. travel (30% or less) Job type: Salaried, Full-time with benefits - no contracting Visa Type: US Citizen or Green card holder. Client cannot sponsor at this time Salary Range: up to $160K-$230K
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create business strategies to successfully achieve client business goals
Be a Consultative Account Manager or Client Partner for the clients that are regional and multinational banks, wealth managers, asset managers, payment providers, and FinTechs
Leverage your Industry Knowledge, Experience and thought leadership to envision how technology can transform our customer's business to drive higher levels of customer experience and engagement
Serve as an expert business and/or tech consultant in one or more of the following areas: retail banking, wealth management, asset management, or capital markets
Serve as the engagement architect, work directly with client's business (product, marketing, operations etc.,) and IT teams to position for success
Exploit the company's existing strengths, create new capabilities required for the company to be recognized as the primary driver of digital transformation that our clients need to deliver to their clients. Bring strong background and track record in the new drivers of transformation – Digital, Experience, Cloud, Analytics, etc.
Develop and Execute Account Plans for growth, delivery excellence, client satisfaction and employee satisfaction
Develop and oversee delivery approaches
Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
Ultimately responsible for shaping solutions and properly scoping / pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
Serve as the Engagement owner; partner with clients to help craft the product vision and roadmaps and create compelling customer value propositions and strategies
Build successful relationships
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
Develop effective relationships with key internal executives, BU heads, Solution SMEs, and Sales and Delivery Leaders
Deliver on the company's growth and performance objectives
Drive account revenue within the client / account portfolio as well as accelerate opportunities to influence and sell-in end-to-end company services
Align with the company's BU's goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving revenue and profit targets
Support sales / pre-sales activities by acting as the lead to assess opportunities, respond to RFP's, create proposals and presentations, establish relationships with clients and prospective clients, and help to close / sign new deals
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in P&L, Sales, Account Management roles
10+ years of experience working-in and/or consulting for retail banks, investment banks, wealth managers, or asset managers
5+ years of demonstrated track record of developing and growing client relationships and leading teams delivering end-to-end IT professional services
Experience and ability to sell software engineering services (cloud, analytics, digital engagement, etc.)
Executive Presence, Exceptional leadership/management skills, Excellent Oral and Written communication skills, Confident Presentation skills
Serve as an expert consultant in business and technology transformation across the broad range of products and services that our clients sell including consumer lending, wealth management, trading platforms, etc.
Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to the team
Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities
Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across large scale accounts and account portfolios
Strong industry knowledge or experience with particular emphasis on strategy, consulting, team management and product development
Track record of leading teams
Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress to successful completion
Sound business acumen; strategic skills; common sense
Effectively manages up and down
Strong negotiation skills
Bachelor's degree or higher
