Account Director | Digital Agency | Travel client | Remote Options (but ideally Calgary based) | 100K - $115,000 + Benefits

The Company: Based in South Yarra, our client is an advertising group with six specialist agencies based across Australia and Singapore with each agency specialising in a different part of the market (Media, Creative, Outdoor, Experiential, Print/Instillation and Digital). They have been in operation for over twenty years working with some of the biggest brands around. This role sits within their creative agency, working across their full client-base, in particular a well-known global sports apparel group(footwear). These are big clients, with big projects and big budgets. **

The Role: As part of the Client Engagement team, the ideal candidate for the Account Director role will understand core agency services and creative processes (e.g. ad campaigns, web builds, content programs, analytics, digital marketing, communications, etc). You believe in a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to projects and that diverse perspectives lead to stronger work. You’re comfortable leading interdisciplinary teams working across the country. You have an interest and ever-growing knowledge of digital/web technologies, technology vendors and third-party technologies. This could also include marketing automation, personalization, campaign design systems, and brand strategy.

Responsibilities**

  • Representing the client and the client’s business to internal teams, ensuring internal teams are working towards the same crystal-clear vision of success (whether it’s set by the client partner, strategist, or the clients)
  • Building a strong, trusting relationship with clients through straightforward communication—even during hard conversations
  • Keeping Client Partners informed on all lines of business
  • Diving deep into the client's business and conducting research for relevant opportunities in their industry vertical
  • Presenting concepts, strategies, and project plans to clients on behalf of interdisciplinary teams
  • Developing thorough briefs that identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and new business
  • Supporting our ongoing commitment to client satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing senior client relationships, growing accounts, co-leading internal teams, and a strategic eye to make sure things are "on brief"
  • Previous agency experience
  • Strong web/product/digital is important (not just digital campaigns)
  • Brand and digital strategy and development
  • Website redesigns
  • Product strategy & design
  • Marketing automation and personalization
  • Travel/tourism/DMO is nice to have
