Job description

We are seeking a Program/Project Manager to remotely support a "startup" within a Fortune 10 ECommerce organization. This is a temporary (11+ Month) assignment to support the business. **

Description**

As a Program Manager on our team, you will coordinate Expansion projects, working closely with global and regional leaders ensuring successful implementation. In this role, you will deliver program updates to senior management in written and verbal formats. You must be able to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and be able to cut through ambiguity and set priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level critical initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You will partner with product management, operations, and other technical teams internally and externally across the Company to achieve your goals and initiatives.

The ideal candidate for the Program/Project Manager role will possess deep knowledge and expertise effective program management and supporting mechanisms, and is expected to develop a broad understanding of business and operations across the organization. As well as excellent organization skills, you will need to be comfortable working with raw data sources to establish clear insight. The ideal candidate sees around corners, is biased for action in ensuring the team is set up for success in achieving our goals, and earns trust through broad stakeholder influence. This role will play an important part in expanding the Company into new markets and ensure positive customer experience.

  • This role focuses on migration associates off tool they are using and replace with new system
  • Associates and ops team onboarded in new marketplaces
  • This would be the key project, possible smaller projects they could touch
  • Owning key project

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, or related field
  • Fluent level in English (oral and written)
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management
  • 2+ years’ experience influencing others and delivering results cross-functionally through Operations, Product Management, Finance, etc
  • Ability to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in processes and results
  • 2+ years’ experience working with Software Development Engineers to develop technical solutions to operational problems
  • Experience working independently to design, plan, and execute technical projects; able to distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs
  • PMP or Prince2 certification preferred
