Join our mission to give the people power to unlock life’s next chapter. We’re looking for smart, passionate people to join our largely distributed workforce as we reimagine the real estate transaction and change the way people buy, sell, rent and finance their homes. Our homes are the heartbeat of our lives, and we believe that finding a home shouldn’t be so hard in today’s always-on world. That’s why we’re reimagining the traditional rules of real estate to make it easier than ever to move from one home to the next. Our journey began nearly 15 years ago with a handful of employees and one big idea: to make it radically easier for people to move. We began by helping people understand and track their homes’ values with the Zestimate, our proprietary algorithm, and then with advanced technology and valuable connections with real estate professionals. Today, Zillow has become a household name; “Zillow” is Googled more frequently than “real estate.” We believe that the time for a seamless and convenient real estate experience is now. This is Zillow’s next chapter.

Job description

About the team

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Technologist to help build and run the highly coordinated, efficient infrastructure that powers Zillow's marketing organization. We serve as the technical liaison between marketing, product, engineering, and marketing vendor teams, bringing all partners together toward a common goal. As part of the WebTech & Ops team, you will play a key role in the operations of the WebTech space for marketing: build and launch landing pages and other customer-facing web pages, manage Google Tag Manager tags and integrations, run web experiments, and create new automations with AI that remove manual work and help marketing move faster across the Web space.

This role performs a combination of hands-on-keyboard work and cross-team program management. You will dig into analytics, run strategic reviews in tools like Amplitude, Fullstory or Databricks, and build visualizations that tell a compelling story to business partners. You will also take part in onboarding new platforms, from implementation and integration to data and security compliance review and training for user teams. The ideal candidate shines in a fast-paced, ambiguous, problem-solving environment and balances hands-on technical skills with program management. If you like solving complex problems and are passionate about enabling marketing teams and delivering the vision of Zillow, we want to hear from you!

About the role

In this role you will

  • Build and launch landing pages and site features in the CMS, implement and QA tags and events in Google Tag Manager, and build audiences that sync through a customer data platform (CDP)
  • Design and build AI-powered automations and workflows (using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Zapier) that remove manual work from intake, QA, reporting and publishing
  • Analyze data in Amplitude, Fullstory or Databricks to find friction, opportunities and wins, then turn it into dashboards and visualizations and present the story to partners and leaders so they can make decisions
  • Launch and analyze web experiments in Optimizely, from hypothesis and build through readout and recommendation
  • Spot gaps in process and tooling, then streamline them: simplify handoffs, retire steps that add no value, and document what remains
  • Own the day-to-day health of the web marketing stack: configurations, integrations, data quality and release hygiene
  • Onboard new platforms end to end, including requirements, implementation, integration, testing, data and security compliance review, and training for marketing users
  • Manage work across marketing, product, engineering and vendor partners: set timelines, track dependencies in Jira, and keep sprint and release plans aligned
  • Report status, risks and tradeoffs to leadership and the business, with clear course-correction plans when plans change
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and instead work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live anywhere in Mexico, with availability to travel to Mexico City, as we recommend attendance at occasional office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • A builder who reaches for automation first and uses AI tools daily to do the work faster and better
  • A problem solver who finds the root cause, proposes a fix and ships it, and who does well when the problem is ambiguous
  • A storyteller with data: you turn analysis into clear visuals and a narrative that persuades partners and drives action
  • Hands-on and organized: you can build the thing and also manage the timeline, the dependencies and the stakeholders around it
  • A clear communicator who earns trust with marketers, engineers and senior leaders alike, in writing and in person
  • Curious and open to challenge: you question assumptions, seek broad input and validate as you go
  • Accountable for operational excellence and for the quality of your own work

Qualifications

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in marketing technology, technical program management or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience building landing pages, implementing tags in Google Tag Manager and building audiences in a customer data platform
  • Experience with an enterprise CMS or WordPress
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor) and automation platforms (e.g. Zapier), with examples of workflows you built
  • Experience building and analyzing web experiments (e.g. Optimizely)
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Fullstory or Databricks), including using AI to query and analyze data
  • Comfortable building data visualizations or dashboards and presenting findings to non-technical partners
  • Experience managing cross-team work with Jira and agile methods, especially Scrum
  • Strong written and verbal communication with business and engineering partners, including executives

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Figma for reviewing designs and handoffs
  • Experience with mobile attribution (e.g. Adjust) and reverse-ETL or audience activation tools (e.g. HighTouch)
  • Familiarity with data privacy, consent and security compliance review for new platforms
  • Experience with Confluence, Google Workspace and digital asset management tools (e.g. OrangeLogic)
