Salary Range: $78,000-$85,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package.

What You're Responsible For

  • Process payroll changes, statutory deductions, remittances, ROEs and year-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and legislative compliance.
  • Maintain payroll controls, resolve discrepancies and collaborate with Finance on payroll-related reconciliations.
  • Support provincial reporting, including applicable workers' compensation requirements.
  • Administer group benefits, Health Spending Account (HSA) and RRSP programs, including employee enrollments, changes, contributions and terminations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits administration inquiries.
  • Coordinate with providers on benefits administration, reconciliations, renewals and employee communications.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration related to leaves of absence, disability and return-to-work arrangements.
  • Provide ongoing support and administration for our primary HRIS platform.
  • Assist employees and managers with time and attendance, system access, troubleshooting and general inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate employee information, support system enhancements and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
  • Administer approved compensation changes, bonuses, commissions and profit-sharing payments.
  • Support annual salary reviews, compensation benchmarking, Total Rewards initiatives and applicable pay equity requirements.
  • Prepare workforce and compensation reports, conduct data audits and support payroll-related compliance reviews.
  • Support payroll, benefits and HRIS integration activities associated with acquisitions.
  • Review employee compensation, benefits and entitlements, and coordinate employee setup and program transitions.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and external partners to support accurate and timely integration.
  • Other related responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Bilingual in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Canadian payroll experience, including independent full-cycle payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-provincial payroll requirements; Quebec payroll experience required.
  • Experience administering employee benefits, RRSP programs and employee entitlements.
  • Experience with BambooHR, UKG or comparable payroll, time and attendance, or HRIS platforms.
  • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation preferred.
