Job Responsibilities

• Participate in new application development and existing system enhancements by coding system features according to system designs and business requirements.
• Develop and integrate AI and machine learning capabilities to support business processes, analytics, and automation.
• Maintain existing application programs by fixing bugs, troubleshooting issues, and resolving operational deficiencies.
• Assure program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Work within an Agile team through research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance.
• Utilize new technologies and tools to enhance products and integrate with applications developed internally and externally.
• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and transformations needed for application and AI functionality.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
• Develop, test, and maintain Python and SQL code within Databricks.
• Maintain sprint work, check in code, participate in code reviews, and update Jira and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot application/code issues and support enhancements to existing systems.
• Collaborate with team members to evaluate AI approaches and integrate models or AI services into applications.
• Support data preparation and processing as needed for development and testing.
