How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm (HTM)
You've built and grown businesses, made the tough decisions, and owned the results. Now put that experience to work helping other business owners do the same.
Compensation: $110,000 base salary + uncapped performance-based compensation, with the opportunity to earn $182,000+ annually.
Location: 100% remote. Candidates must reside in AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WV. Due to state registration requirements, we can only employ candidates in these states.
What if you could use your experience as a CEO to make a meaningful impact across multiple small and midsized businesses instead of running just one?
As a CEO Advisor, you'll work directly with small law firm owners, typically running businesses with $1M–$5M in annual revenue. You'll help them improve profitability, strengthen operations, solve business challenges, and grow.
We're looking for someone who has actually operated and scaled a small or midsized business as its CEO. You understand the realities of running a business without layers of management or unlimited resources. You've owned the P&L, made tough decisions, and been accountable for results.
This is a hands-on advisory role. You'll help owners identify what's holding them back, develop practical solutions, and follow through until results improve.
HTM provides client acquisition and business development support, so you can focus on advising clients rather than finding them.
Important: You do not need to have owned the company you scaled. However, you must have served as its actual operating CEO and personally led its growth. Consulting, coaching, advising, fractional executive, or department leadership experience does not substitute for this requirement.
Be prepared to identify the company you led, its annual revenue when you took over and when you left, your P&L responsibilities, and the decisions you personally made to drive growth. We are looking for actual company revenue, not pipeline, valuation, capital raised, or revenue you influenced as an advisor.
How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm helps attorneys build stronger businesses behind their legal practices. As a CEO Advisor, you'll bring your real-world operating experience to owners who need help with profitability, cash flow, hiring, operations, and growth.
Apply with your resume and make your operating track record clear. Tell us which company you led, its annual revenue when you took over and when you left, and how you helped drive its growth.
We're looking for someone who has actually run a small or midsized business — and can help other business owners do the same.
