Summary The Creative Customer Happiness Expert combines creativity, graphic design, digital artwork, and customer engagement to create personalized, memorable experiences for customers and their pets. This role supports the company’s Customer & Pet Obsession strategy by developing thoughtful gifts, custom artwork, and unique appreciation initiatives that celebrate pets, strengthen customer relationships, and build brand loyalty.

Working closely with the Customer Service Team and other departments, this individual transforms creative ideas into meaningful experiences while coordinating programs and ensuring attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is creative, passionate about pets and people, customer-focused, and skilled at turning everyday interactions into moments that make customers feel valued and appreciated.

This is a part-time position (25 hours per week). Part-time schedules are based on business needs and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, or other shifts as needed to provide customer coverage. Schedule flexibility and reliable attendance are essential expectations of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Design and create digital artwork, personalized gifts, greeting cards, and other creative materials that enhance customer experience.
• Develop thoughtful, engaging, and personalized experiences that celebrate customers and their pets.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of creative projects and customer engagement initiatives.
• Create custom pet artwork and other personalized designs while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to bring creative ideas and projects to life.
• Coordinate customer recognition activities, special occasions, and appreciation opportunities.
• Assist with organizing, tracking, and maintaining creative supplies, gifts, and inventory.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while ensuring timely, accurate completion.
• Maintain organized project records, track completed activities and provide updates on progress.
• Identify new creative ideas and opportunities to improve customer experiences and strengthen brand loyalty.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Other Qualifications

• Experience using Canva for digital design
• Previous experience in customer service
• Experience coordinating personalized gifts, branded merchandise, or creative customer initiatives.
• Familiarity with Purchasing processes, and budget tracking.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, customer relationship management systems, or project management tools.
• Experience collaborating with multiple team members and departments

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in creative design, digital artwork, customer experience, program coordination, or related field.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems, internet-based applications, customer service platforms, and standard business software. Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems as needed.
