Job description

About the job

Company Overview
Our client is an early-stage, fast-growing beauty brand redefining the nail care category with high-performance skincare for nails. Founded by seasoned beauty and consumer leaders, including the former CEO of a global beauty brand and the founder of a category-defining DTC consumer brand, the company sells across its own DTC e-commerce channel, national retail partners in the US, TikTok Shop, and Amazon. It is now scaling an omnichannel acquisition model that connects direct-to-consumer digital channels with its national retail footprint.

About the Role
Maybe you’ve been running paid media on autopilot and miss the rigor of real experimentation. Or maybe you’ve been testing creative inside a big agency and want to see your results move a brand’s numbers directly. In this role you won’t follow a generic media buying playbook. You’ll approach paid acquisition like a testing engineer: design the experiments, read the data, scale what works, and cut what doesn’t.

What You Will Do
This is a hands-on role for a rigorous, data-obsessed media buyer who lives inside ad accounts and spreadsheets. Every platform behaves differently. The expectation stays the same: acquire customers efficiently and prove it with data.
You will build, manage, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube, and retail ad networks such as Target Roundel and Amazon Ads. You will run structured creative testing frameworks across hooks, formats (static vs. motion), landing pages, and value propositions to systematically find winning ad concepts. To drive in-store sales, you will design and monitor geo-targeted campaigns around key retail stores to lift foot traffic and register velocity. You will manage daily budget pacing, ROAS thresholds, blended MER, and first-order CAC in real-time tracking spreadsheets. Each week, you will give the Senior Graphic Designer and Content & Community Manager a data readout on creative fatigue, winning visual elements, and next-sprint asset requests. You will also use AI analysis tools and custom scripts to evaluate attribution models, track ad trends, and speed up weekly reporting.

Why Join
You’ll join a fast-growing brand at an early stage, backed by founders with deep beauty and consumer experience. You’ll have real ownership of the paid acquisition engine across DTC, marketplaces, and national retail, and you’ll work closely with a small in-house growth team where your tests directly shape the business. The role is fully remote and works with a US-based team.

Who You Are

  • Performance Media Buying Track Record: 3–5+ years directly deploying and managing paid media budgets for consumer or e-commerce brands on Meta, TikTok, and Google.

  • Testing Discipline: Demonstrated ability to manage structured creative testing frameworks and scale winning ad creative without degrading efficiency.

  • Spreadsheet & Analytical Fluency: High comfort with CAC/LTV calculations, blended MER modeling, and third-party attribution platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam, or GA4).

  • Execution Autonomy: Independent problem-solver who monitors campaign efficiency proactively and makes swift optimization calls.

  • Language & Alignment: Fluent English communication; full schedule alignment with US Eastern hours.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with marketplace advertising (Amazon Ads) or retail media networks (Target Roundel)

  • Experience in beauty, personal care, or CPG, especially replenishable products

  • Experience running geo-targeted campaigns to drive retail foot traffic

  • Comfort writing scripts or using AI tools to automate reporting and analysis

📍 Remote, LATAM-based | Contractor | US Eastern hours | Part time
