Job Title: Remote Construction Project Manager (100% Work From Home) 

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time 

Salary: $2,000 - 2,500 USD/month depending on experience paid via direct deposit or Veem 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern Time

Job Overview 

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing new construction/installation including scheduling and client communication so that it is completed successfully, within the given deadline. 

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period of any project
• Ensuring that all the project requirements are taken care of; at the same time; s/he ensures that the three constraints (quality, cost, as well as time) that face every project are properly managed
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the client.
• Virtually meets with engineers, architects, suppliers and the clients to ensure that project is completed to the satisfaction of everybody involved as required.
• Regularly schedules field visits with on the ground personnel to keep close supervision on the project
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before updating client.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Keeps project team well informed of changes 
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Manages day-to-day client interaction.
• Sets and manages client expectations.
• Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
• Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as requested.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies: 

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry 
• Financial management skills
• Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Computer or technical knowledge
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Ability to learn to read complex construction drawings and discuss designs with installers
• Ability to learn flooring-related computer software
• Intermediate Microsoft Office/Google Apps experience
