About pocket.watch

pocket.watch is the first and largest next-gen creator media company creating global franchises with the most popular video creators on the planet. We build on our leadership in kids and family to reach a broader youth culture audience, including tweens, teens, and young adults. We help creators grow beyond their channels through original programming, distribution, and brand partnerships across YouTube, social, streaming, and connected TV.

For brand and advertising partners, we bring together creator relationships, branded entertainment, and video media to build programs that connect brands with audiences through the content and personalities they follow.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a driven sales executive with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and a proven record of winning business. You’ll sell across content sponsorships, creator integrations, and YouTube and video media, finding the right solution for each client and owning the sale from first outreach through close.
This is a hands-on role for an aggressive new business hunter. You should be comfortable opening doors, building your own pipeline, writing proposals, and following up with persistence and purpose. You’ll work with a lean support team and be accountable for your own activity, relationships, and revenue. This position has no direct reports.

What You’ll Do

  • Win new brand and agency business through targeted prospecting, outbound outreach, referrals, and in-market meetings. Expand existing accounts where assigned.
  • Own individual monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Build a qualified pipeline that supports those goals and move opportunities forward with clear next steps.
  • Build relationships with brand marketers and agency teams across media investment, strategy, social, creator marketing, and branded content.
  • Translate client goals into proposals across creator integrations, branded entertainment, sponsorships, and YouTube/video media, sold individually or together.
  • Own discovery, presentations, RFP responses, media plans, pricing discussions, negotiation, and close. Be able to create and revise your own sales materials.
  • Partner with creative, production, sales support, and Ad Operations to scope feasible programs, align budgets and timelines, and support campaign delivery and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, revenue forecasts, and follow-up. Give leadership concise updates on progress, risks, and support needed.
  • Learn the creator roster, content slate, and media offering. Identify relevant opportunities across entertainment, gaming, toys, retail, food/QSR, and other youth and family categories.

What You Bring

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant digital media, video, creator partnership, or branded content sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to originate and close new business. Be ready to discuss your quota performance, business you sourced yourself, and your role in closing deals.
  • A hunter mentality and strong work ethic. You are self-motivated, resourceful, and persistent, with the discipline to prospect consistently and follow through without daily direction.
  • Experience selling YouTube/video media and creator or content programs, with the ability to connect audience, creative ideas, and media delivery to a client’s objectives.
  • Relevant brand or agency relationships and the confidence to build new ones. Experience with entertainment, gaming, youth culture, or kids and family advertisers is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills. You can build a compelling deck, develop a media plan, and work confidently with CPMs, impressions, budgets, and revenue/margin targets.
  • Sound judgment, organization, and accountability. You manage competing deadlines, bring solutions, and collaborate well with creative and operational teams.
  • Familiarity with CTV, FAST, programmatic video, or advertising standards for younger audiences is a plus. Willingness and adaptation to learn the full offering is essential.

What Success Looks Like

You consistently create qualified opportunities, convert outreach into meetings and proposals, and close business against your revenue goals. Clients trust your recommendations, internal teams can count on your follow-through, and your pipeline reflects opportunities you are actively advancing.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $125,000 to $150,000 annually, plus commission. Commission plan details will be discussed during the hiring process. Eligible employees may participate in company-sponsored benefit programs, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plans, paid time off, paid holidays, and other company-sponsored programs.
