Janitor/Driver - New Lodge Opening Near Chapleau, ON

Exciting opportunity! ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring Janitor/Driver for a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario at the end of November. Join our team and play a key role in launching this exciting new operation.

About the Role

The Janitor/Driver are responsible for keeping the overall cleanliness and sanitization of the lodge. Janitors could be supporting in other areas of general cleaning of the lodge.

Requirements

All candidates selected for hire must successfully complete:

• Criminal background check
• Drivers License required 
• Drivers Abstract required 
• Current WHIMIS & 4 Step Certificate

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
• Adaptable to guests’ needs

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $19.64
