The Role

  Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven PPC Support Specialist to join their digital marketing team. Reporting to account management leadership, this professional will build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns specifically tailored for self-storage facilities. Combining keyword strategy, bid management, and spreadsheet data analysis, the specialist will analyze performance metrics, execute A/B tests, and synthesize actionable insights to empower account managers and maximize client return on ad spend (ROAS).

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Campaign Management & Optimization

 

• Builds, manages, and optimizes Google Ads campaigns (focusing on Search campaigns with tactical deployment of Performance Max) tailored for self-storage operators.

• Conducts continuous keyword research, negative keyword auditing, competitor analysis, and ad creative A/B testing to drive CTR and conversion rates.

• Monitors daily campaign performance metrics, adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting strategies to achieve target ROAS, cost-per-click (CPC), and cost-per-rental goals.

• Stays current on PPC industry best practices, algorithmic shifts, and updates within the Google Ads ecosystem.

Data Analysis, Spreadsheet Modeling & Reporting

 

• Analyzes campaign performance data in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel using formulas (such as VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables).

• Generates clear, data-backed insights and reports to support marketing managers during strategic client performance reviews.

• Identifies trends, performance gaps, and expansion opportunities across assigned client accounts.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies

Required Qualifications

 

• PPC Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns in an agency or client-side setting.

• Spreadsheet Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including comfort manipulating data via VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative capabilities with an eye for detail and the ability to convert raw metrics into actionable strategy.

• Fluent English Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills to collaborate effectively with US team leads and synthesize campaign reports.

• Schedule Alignment: Ability to work full-time hours overlapping substantially with US Mountain Time (MT) business schedules.

• Remote Workspace Infrastructure: Quiet dedicated home workspace, updated computer setup, HD webcam, headset, and reliable high-speed primary internet.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Active Google Ads Certifications (Search, Measurement, or Display).

• Prior experience managing campaigns for self-storage facilities, local service businesses, or location-based accounts.

• Familiarity with tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4).

• Previous agency experience managing multi-account client portfolios.
