This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with strong research, organizational, and analytical skills who is interested in gaining experience in intellectual property, licensing, and publishing operations.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, review, and evaluate requests to use published educational content, conducting research to determine whether permissions can be granted under established policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and process permissions licenses, ensuring accurate documentation and application of established licensing fees.

  • Support copyright registration processes with the U.S. Copyright Office by researching, collecting, and organizing required information and documentation.

  • Assist internal stakeholders with contract research and analysis, including reviewing and extracting information from author agreements and royalty-related documentation.

  • Maintain organized, accurate records and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.

  • Investigate discrepancies, identify missing information, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.

  • Manage multiple requests and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy.

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to efficient, consistent workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • 0–1+ years of general professional experience, preferably involving administrative support, documentation, research, or analytical responsibilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review, interpret, and extract information from documents or datasets.

  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Ability to follow established procedures, learn new processes, and work effectively with appropriate guidance.

Nice to Have

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Communications, Publishing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in legal administration, contract management, licensing, documentation, or publishing operations.

  • Exposure to copyright, intellectual property, content licensing, or rights management.

  • Familiarity with publishing agreements, author contracts, or royalty documentation.

  • Experience using Smartsheet.

  • Knowledge of business law or intellectual property concepts.

Why Join Jobsity?

  • Collaborate with a leading U.S.-based company in the education and publishing industry.

  • Gain hands-on exposure to content licensing, copyright processes, and contract administration.

  • Develop valuable research, analytical, and operational skills.

  • Work with professionals across different business functions.

  • Build your career in an environment that values collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
