  • Test on desktop browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), mobile web, and native iOS and Android apps
  • Find, document and report defects with clear titles, steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results and screenshots
  • Log and track bugs in our ticketing system (Linear)
  • Test APIs using Postman
  • Give clear written status updates to the QA team and engineering leads
What we’re looking for (required)

  • Experience with a bug or issue tracker such as Jira, Linear or Azure DevOps
  • Experience testing across browsers, mobile web, and iOS and Android apps
  • Experience with API testing using Postman
  • Your own devices: a computer plus iOS and Android phones
  • A reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup
  • Able to work 4 to 5 hours a day overlapping Eastern Time (roughly evening to early morning in the Philippines), with a flexible schedule around that overlap
Nice to have
  • Using browser developer tools to capture console errors and network requests for bug reports
  • Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Experience testing learning or education software (LMS, e-learning, course platforms)
  • Backup equipment in case of power or internet interruption
  • Nice to have: Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor as it relates to QA
  • Software development experience: Java, PHP, NodeJS, Javascript, etc.
Why join TLN

  • Rate is ₱40k - ₱50k a month, depending on experience
  • Fully remote, working with a team across Canadian time zones and beyond
  • Meaningful work: QA is a high-priority function here
  • Room to grow, with a possible path into first-level support and customer success
