About the role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to develop and enhance reporting solutions in collaboration with actuarial, data, QA, and IT teams. The role will focus on Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, data visualization, reporting automation, and analytics to support data-driven business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with actuarial teams to identify reporting priorities and deliver actionable BI solutions.
• Develop and enhance reports and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Build and maintain Power BI semantic models for reporting and analytics.
• Develop automated testing workflows and scalable CI/CD pipelines using cloud and Git-based tools.
• Validate report outputs in collaboration with QA teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for internal use and UAT.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve reporting data models and architecture.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement reporting standards and support governance and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to reporting solutions.

About you

• 2+ years of experience developing reports using Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using BI/visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
• Experience supporting analytics or actuarial functions, preferably in an insurance environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Willingness to learn and adopt emerging tools and technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
• Required Technical Skills: Power BI Report Development, DAX, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Nice-to-Have Skills: SQL / Snowflake, Python for Data Analytics, Power Query, Git / GitHub, SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, Streamlit or Sigma, User Requirements Gathering, UI/UX and Wireframing.
