Product Manager IV

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Product Manager IV (Senior Product Manager) based in Indianapolis, IN or remotely. The Product Manager IV (Senior Product Manager) will lead the global strategy, roadmap, and portfolio management for dormakaba’s PACS Readers & Credentials business, driving portfolio growth, technology evolution, and market competitiveness across hardware, mobile access, and credential management solutions. This role owns the end-to-end product portfolio across the Farpointe, dormakaba, and OEM/private-label brands, serving diverse customer segments and access control deployments across North America, Europe, and the rest of the world. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations, the Product Manager will translate market needs and business objectives into product strategies and roadmaps that strengthen market position, support innovation, and maximize portfolio performance throughout the product lifecycle.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $120,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Plus an annual bonus. Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global strategy for the PACS Readers & Credentials portfolio across Farpointe, dormakaba, and OEM/private-label brands, identifying market opportunities, emerging technologies, customer segments, and growth opportunities across hardware, mobile access, and credential management solutions
• Develop and prioritize product roadmaps, investments, features, and timelines based on market trends, customer needs, technology evolution, and business objectives. Translate requirements into differentiated product solutions that strengthen competitiveness across global markets
• Lead alignment across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, manage dependencies, and deliver portfolio objectives throughout the product lifecycle
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan product launches, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market readiness. Monitor key performance indicators, revenue growth, market competitiveness, and profitability to maximize portfolio performance
• Optimize the end-to-end portfolio of access readers, physical and mobile credentials, digital wallet solutions, and credential issuance and cloud-based management services. Manage product introductions, enhancements, and phase-outs to reduce complexity, maintain profitability, and ensure alignment with evolving market needs

What we require

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in product management or a related function, with experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and portfolio management
• Ability to identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs and competitive trends, prioritize product investments, and drive business growth and profitability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align and influence cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate complex product and technology concepts into clear requirements, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies
