Data Engineer (Data RND Team)

We’re a small full-stack data engineering team that builds the foundations other data teams stand on.
We architect tools and processes that act as force multipliers across the platform.

What you’ll have to do:

  • Develop AI tooling (MCP servers) for our domain BI modelling teams
  • Create libraries, packages and custom orchestration in Airflow for the Data Science team
  • Help develop our metadata-as-code setup and its integration with DataHub
  • Help build and maintain our GCP infrastructure (Terraform)
  • Operate and evolve our multi-team Apache Airflow platform (images, workers and queues, Keycloak SSO, per-team isolation)

What makes you a good fit:

  •  A proficient data engineer who knows their way around orchestration, deployment, lakehouses and infrastructure as code
  • Comfortable owning things end to end: we are a full-stack DE team and handle our own deployments and infrastructure
  • Able to read other people’s code and infra quickly, and to write code other people can read
  • Advanced English proficiency

What makes you stand out:

  • Hands-on experience with DataHub or another data catalog / metadata platform
  • Experience building tools, APIs or LLM-based tooling for other teams
  • Experience working alongside data science teams and knowing what they need from DE
  • Experience designing internal platforms, registries or APIs that other teams depend on
  • Multi-cloud or hybrid on-prem/cloud environments

What we’ve prepared for you:

  • Medical subscription: Medicover or Regina Maria.
  • A flexible budget that you can invest in yourself as you wish: meal tickets, holiday tickets, cultural vouchers, private pension, foreign language classes, eMAG, Fashion Days, Therme & Genius, membership to different gyms or even professional development classes.
  • Different discounts from our partners: banking, mobile, dental medicine or wellness.
  • Access to the Bookster library and free credits on the Hilio psycho-emotional health platform.
  • An accelerated learning environment, with access to over 100.000 curated online resources and platforms, learning academies and development programs.
  • New headquarters, where sleek design, natural light, and versatile spaces create an energizing and comfortable environment for hybrid work.
