Job description

Ready for the next step in your HR career? Join Our Team as a People and Culture Advisor!

Location: This is a remote role with occasional travel to client locations, so applicants should be located on Vancouver Island or in the Lower Mainland.

Are you an emerging HR professional who’s ready to take the next step in your career? If you thrive on variety in your work, enjoy continuous learning, and excel at building strong relationships, you might be exactly who we’re looking for!

As a People & Culture Advisor, you’ll work alongside a collaborative and experienced team of HR professionals to deliver practical solutions to clients across Canada. In this role, you’ll support a wide range of HR functions and initiatives, building your expertise while making a meaningful impact on organizations and their people.

Who we are:

We are BC’s premier HR consulting firm and a team of innovators, problem-solvers, and trusted advisors who help transform workplaces. We partner with small and medium-sized organizations across not-for-profit, public, and private sectors in unionized and non-unionized environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with a team to support clients day-to-day HR needs, from employee questions to policy updates and everything in between.

  • Support managers and employees through the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development to employee relations and offboarding.

  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, helping to build programs and foundations that support employee growth, workplace safety, and organizational success.

  • Help clients find and hire top talent, leading recruitment activities from job posting to offer stage.

  • Develop your consulting skills while balancing client relationships, deadlines, and competing priorities.

  • Use your tech skills to keep things running smoothly through tools like AI, HRIS and ATS systems.

  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive team that believes HR should be both professional and fun!

What you’ll bring:

  • A post-secondary degree (preferably in HR, business, or a related field).

  • At least 2 years of HR-related experience, including internships and co-ops.

  • Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine desire to learn.

  • Great communication skills and a talent for building trust and connection.

  • Comfort with technology (HRIS or ATS experience is an asset) and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of deadlines and balance competing priorities.
