Customer Data Actualization Analyst with German

Join our team as a Customer Data Actualization Analyst and support periodic customer and corporate data reviews to ensure compliance with AML, KYC and regulatory requirements. You will contribute to risk management through accurate data validation, documentation review, customer communication and collaboration with Compliance and Risk teams.

Job location: Bucharest or Brasov | Hybrid. National hires: Full Work from Home | Monday–Friday, 09:00 - 18:00.

Your mission

• Perform periodic customer reviews and data refresh activities;
• Review KYC documentation for completeness, validity and plausibility;
• Verify beneficial ownership information, assess customer risk indicators and conduct research through public sources and internal databases;
• Contact customers to request documentation, clarify information and resolve inquiries related to data actualization activities;
• Update customer records, maintain complete audit trails and escalate complex cases to Compliance, Risk or Underwriting teams.

Required Qualifications:

• German & English - C1 level;
• Bachelor’s degree;
• Analytical and investigative skills;
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize caseloads effectively;
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• French - B2 level ((not mandatory, but considered an advantage);
• Experience in KYC, AML, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), financial crime operations or similar activities. Previous experience is an advantage, but the role is also suitable for junior candidates;
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements;
• Experience working with customer and compliance-related systems;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
