Job description

About Verve

At Verve, we’re redefining how insight works in an AI-powered world — combining Human, Cultural and Artificial Intelligence to help clients act with greater speed and confidence.

Through Verve Vero — our AI-powered platform and consultancy ecosystem — we build AI-enabled insight tools, simulations and models that bring human truth into the heart of decision-making. From Verve Intelligent Personas & Simulations to bespoke solutions grounded in client data, everything we create is designed to enable confident decisions of consequence with real-world impact.

Our work spans categories and continents, helping global brands navigate complex challenges — from innovation and brand strategy to customer experience and future planning. We combine deep human understanding with AI to deliver insight that is faster, more scalable, and more actionable.

This is a hands-on environment. We move quickly, test and learn, and continuously build and refine the tools that power our work. Curiosity, experimentation and practical application sit at the heart of how we operate.

About the Role

If you’re excited by finding the right problems to solve — and getting people moving to solve them — this is it.

As an AI Product Manager in our R&D Lab, you’ll sit at the intersection of users, product, technology and the wider business.

You’ll identify opportunities for new and improved Vero tools and processes, deeply understand what users actually need, and turn those needs into clear priorities for our technical team.

From an initial idea through experimentation, development, testing and implementation, you’ll keep projects moving — bringing the right people together, making decisions, managing priorities and ensuring what we build works in the real world.

You don’t need to be the person writing the Python script. But you do need enough technical understanding to work confidently with those who are.

Your Contribution

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to create or improve Vero tools and processes
  • Deeply understand problems from the user and business perspective, not just the technical one
  • Translate user needs and business problems into clear product requirements and priorities
  • Own projects from initial idea through experimentation, development, testing and implementation
  • Work closely with technical developers, R&D colleagues and internal stakeholders to bring solutions to life
  • Define project priorities, milestones, responsibilities and deadlines
  • Coordinate fast, lightweight experiments and prototype testing
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and turn it into clear product improvements
  • Help determine which ideas should progress, change direction or stop
  • Manage competing requirements and keep teams aligned around what matters most
  • Identify dependencies, blockers and risks early and help teams resolve them
  • Drive successful prototypes towards implementation and adoption
  • Communicate progress, decisions and technical concepts clearly across different audiences
  • Ensure the solutions we build are practical, scalable and genuinely useful

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong product and/or project management experience, ideally in a technology or AI-enabled environment
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end and keeping multidisciplinary teams moving towards delivery
  • Strong user-centred problem solving — you want to understand the problem before jumping to the solution
  • Ability to translate complex or ambiguous problems into clear priorities and actions
  • Experience collaborating across product, development, marketing and other multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with people with different priorities and technical backgrounds
  • Working knowledge of AI concepts and infrastructure such as LLMs, APIs, prompt engineering and RAG
  • Enough technical fluency to have productive conversations with developers, ask good questions and understand technical trade-offs
  • A clear, confident communication style — able to explain complexity simply and align teams around decisions
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable experimenting, gathering feedback and changing direction when the evidence suggests you should
  • A growth mindset — you’re comfortable with ambiguity, take initiative without waiting for detailed direction, and thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments

Bonus Points For

  • Experience delivering AI or technology products
  • Experience using AI to improve business processes or ways of working
  • Experience running early-stage experiments or rapid prototypes
  • Experience with low/no-code prototyping tools such as Lovable
  • Some hands-on coding or technical development experience
  • Experience in the market research or insight sector

What We Offer

  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI tools and thinking — practical, not theoretical
  • The opportunity to shape products at the intersection of AI, insight and real-world decision-making
  • Working closely with technical, product, consultancy and business teams
  • A fast-paced, agile and empowering environment
  • Autonomy to test, learn, prioritise and influence what gets built
  • Collaboration with an ambitious global team solving real-world problems

If you’re excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of AI-empowered consultancy — finding the right problems, bringing people together to solve them and turning promising ideas into tools that make a real difference — we’d love to hear from you.
