Job description

Job Type Full-time Description

HALO is looking for an eCommerce Specialist to own the performance and growth of a portfolio of live client online stores. You are the strategic performance partner and responsible for assigned client stores success. You track how each store is performing, dig into the analytics, spot what is working and what is not, and turn that into clear recommendations that improve the customer experience and grow the business. This role combines analysis, performance storytelling, and cross-functional partnerships.

Success in this role means going beyond reporting numbers. You review traffic, conversion, revenue, promotions, and user behavior, connect the data to what shoppers are experiencing, and translate it into a clear story with a recommended next step. You are proactive, analytical, and organized, which allows you to manage a portfolio of stores at different service levels and keep every one of them moving forward.

You are also the strategic leader for incoming requests. When a client's need or request comes in, you assess what they are trying to accomplish, determine whether it fits a standard solution or calls for a custom one, and explain what each path means for scope, effort, and timeline. From there you coordinate the right teams to build, test, and deliver, monitor progress, and follow through to make sure the work gets done and gets done well.

Above all, you take ownership of the performance and operational health of assigned stores. You do not wait for clients to ask. You surface opportunities early, prioritize by impact, and drive recommendations and requests through to results by partnering with the teams who execute them.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with account managers, web content, and technical support teams to move approved work forward, track commitments, surface blockers, and escalate when follow-through is at risk. You own the success of the webstore.

• Drive successful promotions and launches. You’re leading from setup through launch and consistently provide outcome review, measuring impact and capturing lessons learned.

• Lead performance oversight and growth recommendations for a portfolio of live eCommerce stores, keeping each one visible, healthy, and moving toward its goals.

• Build, maintain, and review analytics dashboards, tracking core KPIs such as traffic, conversion, revenue, average order value, search behavior, and user engagement on a regular cadence.

• Identify shifts, trends, friction points, growth opportunities, and surface risks and anomalies before they become problems.

• Review site feedback and user experience data to spot usability issues, broken paths, and confusing journeys, and translate them into prioritized recommendations.

• Make data-backed recommendations for content, merchandising, navigation, promotions, and user experience, prioritized by business value, customer impact, and effort, with each tied to an expected outcome.

• Tell the performance story for each store: what happened, why it happened, what it means for the customer, and what should happen next.

• Confidently lead client meetings and incoming webstore requests and needs, identify what the client is really trying to accomplish, and scope the right solution, whether it is a standard offering or a custom build, along with what each option means for scope, effort, and timeline.

• Coordinate delivery from intake through completion: engage the appropriate teams to build, QA, and launch the work, monitor progress, and follow through to make sure it gets done correctly and on time.

• Prepare the performance summaries, insights, visuals, and recommendations that anchor quarterly business reviews (QBRs), helping account teams lead stronger client conversations.

• Share insights and winning ideas across your portfolio and with peers, so a win for one client becomes an opportunity for others.

• Align your level of attention, cadence, and reporting to each client’s tier and priority.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital analytics, account management, or a related field working with online stores or digital programs.

• Strong analytical skills and comfort working in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight.

• A proven ability to translate numbers into a story: what happened, why, and what to do about it.

• Experience making and prioritizing recommendations that improve conversion, user experience, and revenue, with an eye toward conversion rate optimization (CRO).

• Understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, including merchandising, promotions, navigation, search, and the online customer journey.

• Ability to scope incoming requests into clear solutions, distinguish standard offerings from custom work, and coordinate delivery across multiple teams through QA and launch.

• A strong eye for the customer experience and how design, content, and site behavior shape it.

• Proven ability to independently own a portfolio, stay organized across multiple accounts, and deliver on deadline with minimal direction.

• Resourceful and proactive, with sound judgment on what to prioritize and when to escalate.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high confidence in client-facing conversations and the ability to lead and explain performance and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

• High confidence partnering with cross-functional teams and holding others accountable for follow-through without owning every task yourself.

• Familiarity with quarterly business reviews (QBRs) or client reporting is a plus. Familiarity with site feedback or user experience tools and basic SEO concepts is a plus.

• Highly detail oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Occasional overtime may be required to support launches or critical issues.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
